Massage Cupping Therapy

This type of bodywork utilizes specially designed cups of various sizes to create a vacuum on the skin’s surface. The cups are typically made of plastic, or silicone and can be applied to various areas of the body, including the back, shoulders, hips, and legs.

During a typical Massage Cupping therapy session, Mary applies oil to the skin and then places the cups onto the targeted areas. The cups will be placed on skin using a hand-held pump is used to create a vacuum, which draws the skin and underlying tissue upward into the cup. The cups are then moved around the area to stimulate the tissue.

The suction created by the cups helps to increase blood flow, loosen tight muscles, and promote healing by bringing nutrient-rich blood to the affected area. This increased blood flow can also help to flush out toxins and metabolic waste, which can help to reduce inflammation and pain.

Massage Cupping therapy is often used to treat a variety of conditions, such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, and joint pain. It is also used to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, assist in lymphatic drainage, and promote relaxation.
